Product Features
POLİFİX Mineral Plaster is a white cement-based, one-component, polymer-added, trowel-applied, grain-textured top coat decorative facade coating material.
Application Areas
It is applied on interior and exterior plasters as a top coat decorative coating material in jacketing systems.
Surface Preparation
The application surface and thermal insulation boards must be sound and cleaned from dust, oil, tar, pitch, paint, silicone, curing material, detergent and mold oils.
Before application, decorative plaster primer is applied to the surface with a brush or roller.
Preparation of Liquid Mortar
25 kg POLİFİX Mineral Plaster is added into 6-6.5 liters of clean water and mixed preferably with a low speed mixer so that there are no lumps.
Let the prepared mortar rest for 5-10 minutes to mature and mix again 1-2 minutes before starting the application.
The prepared mortar should be consumed within 3 hours. Expired mortar should not be used.
Application Information
The material should be applied to the surface with a steel trowel and spread evenly over the entire surface.
The application thickness should be adjusted according to the largest aggregate.
Within 10 minutes at the latest, while the material is still wet, the plaster should be patterned by making circular movements with a plastic trowel.
After the application is completed, if the air temperature is high, the surface should be moistened until the cement sets.
Warnings
Avoid application at temperatures below +5°C and above +35°C.
If possible, application should be made without a break, if a break is necessary, the surface should be divided into areas of approximately 20 m2 and applied separately.
Plastic trowel application should be started within 10 minutes at the latest and a film layer should not be allowed to form on the plaster.
Avoid application on areas that are frozen, at risk of freezing within 24 hours or open to direct sun and wind.
If snowfall or severe cold is expected within one week after the application until the cement sets, the application should not be made and protection measures should be taken.
Dust and water should never be added to expired mortar.
The product should not be applied on horizontal surfaces exposed to rain.
The above values are provided under +23°C temperature and 50% relative humidity conditions.

Storage
It can be stored for 12 months on the pallet by stacking up to 10 layers in moisture-free environments and in its unopened packaging.
